Altars
You may have been to soaring cathedrals with ornate altars at a far end. Or, inside a museum, you may have seen enormous marble altars excavated from ancient Greece. These are dramatic examples of altars. They are, for people in those traditions, points of contact with what they found holy. The same holds true for you.
