Reiki

So much of our lived energy is stored in our bodies, even if we don’t realize it. That’s why it is important to get healing touch on your body. Trusting a healer to help unwind your knots, the psychic-emotional knots that become deep physical aches, can help each of us let go and simply be more relaxed and present. Reiki, a Japanese healing practice, is one such form of bodywork. The word reiki means “rei” means spirit and “ki” means vital energy. So, reiki is the movement of spiritual lifeforce. Reiki moves stuck energy, from physical or emotional injury, and allows a person to ease into healing. The reiki practitioner will move their hands above or lightly on injured areas of a person. This allows those stuck or injured areas of energy to begin to move and to heal.
