Balance your Doshas
To balance out your doshas, an ayurvedic practitioner will look at your unique combination of doshas and prescribe a health plan aligned with your distinct attributes. They’ll give you a combination of activities, a schedule, or a diet based upon your personal profile. For example, if your kapha is out of whack, you may need to stabilize your sleep routine or get up in the morning for that sunrise run. Or, if your pitta needs some work, the answer could be making sure you clock off at exactly five every afternoon – no more 11pm emails! Then, if vata is out of whack, you may need to focus on grounding through meditation and calming exercises. Each of us is unique. Ayurveda and the doshas can help us understand this.
