Kundalini Yoga
This week, we’re going to highlight a few yoga practices we particularly like. Yoga is well established in the West, but different yogic practices can get lumped together. So we’re going to point out a few, perhaps helping people find one. Yoga can tap into that important space between your breath and your body where all sorts of potent energy can flow. So, we’ll start out with a pretty potent yoga practice–Kundalini. Kundalini yoga is about activating Shakti energy coiled at the base of your spine. It’s a vigorous practice, with significant breathwork and long postures. But, as one of Kundalini’s first teachers in the West said, this strong practice can help you shed old layers of yourself to become more you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
