Vedic Astrology

Vedic astrology is similar to Western, but uses a different calendar. As a result, the dates of the zodiac are a little different. If you were born on the 1st of March, for example, and you’ve always thought of yourself as Pisces, brace yourself. In the Vedic calendar, you would be an Aquarian.

2,000 years ago, the sidereal signs (Vedic) and the tropic signs (Western) were in the same position. But across time, everything has shifted a bit. Due to a process called the precession of equinoxes, the constellations have drifted from their earlier positions. Vedic astrology reflects this.

Vedic astrology is based on the sidereal zodiac, which is a system that calculates the position of planets based on where they’re observed to be in relation to respective constellations. It speaks more to your karma and dharma than Western astrology, and seeks to shed light on the particular gifts you came into this world to share.
