Always Be Yourself - Bruce Lee
After being noticed for his martial arts prowess, Bruce Lee began acting. He went back to Hong Kong, where he had grown up, and became an international sensation with the films Fists of Fury and The Chinese Connection. He then wrote, directed, and starred in Return of the Dragon. With Enter the Dragon, his next movie, Bruce became the first actor to facilitate a collaboration between the Hong Kong film industry and Hollywood. Simply put, Enter the Dragon is a classic. Watch it, know it, love it. But Bruce asserted that he was only an actor by profession. In his heart, he said, he was simply a student of life. We all have much to learn from Bruce Lee’s integrity, discipline, and learning. His book Striking Thoughts compiles much of his wisdom, and is a terrific read. Bruce Lee is certainly a great spirit.
